This Alvis Special was built for racing purposes on the chassis
of a Alvis 4.3 liter in the late thirties.
The 4.3 liter six-cylinder engine, fitted with three S.U. carburetors
and an overhead camshaft, has a power-output of approximately
170 bhp. which gives the car the ability to reach a top-speed of
around 110 miles per hour!
