Company discovered the Healey day before the opening of the "Earls
Court Motor show" in the year 1952 at the show-booth of the Healey
Motor Corporation. The Austin Healey 3000, also known as the "Big Healey", was produced between 1959 and 1968. The Healey 3000 was the follow-up to the successful 100/4 and 100/6 Healey's. The 3000 was the first Healey fitted with power-assisted brakes and disc brakes on the front wheels. The 3000 was to be the last "big" Austin Healey. 6 cylinder
in-line engine Austin Healey 3000 Mk IIa (convertible), year 1963. Chassis number HBJ7L19598. Colour red with a black leather interior. Black soft top, black tonneau cover and hood cover. This fantastic 'Big Healey' was extensively' body off' restored. A restoration file is present. the car is in superb (excellent++) condition, near concours. The car sports 72 spoke chrome wire wheels, a MotoLita sports steering wheel, a chrome luggage rack, badge bar with Lucas driving/fog lamps, an aluminium petrol tank, and a Stainless Steel exhaust.
