The Healey was first presented as a prototype by Donald Healey at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1952. Donald Healey produced his cars from 1946 to 1954. His firm was named Donald Healey motor Co.
Before the opening of the show British Motor Company (BMC) showed interest for the car and adopted the design. In the year 1953 the first Austin Healey was produced. The car became the embodiment of the true British sportscar and it is as popular today as it was then.
The Austin Healey 100 is a two-seater roadster. the car is powered by the wonderful, powerful, engine from the Austin Atlantic. It is a four cylinder engine with a cylinder capacity of 2660 cc. and standard 110 bhp. power-output.
Competition variants were produced too. These 100 S versions had a light alloy cylinder head, alloy body panels and disc brakes all round. the 100 S versions had a power output of 132 hp.

The presented 100/4 M is prepared to Le Mans competition specifications; offering 135 hp. output and stunning drive-ability.

Information on the presented Austin Healey

Austin Healey 100/4M. Colour Old English White. this classic Healey was restored a few years ago and is still in pristine condition.
Recently the engine was fully overhauled and tuned to Le Mans specifications. The engine is equipped with a 305 degree camshaft, S.U. Omega H6 carburettors, flowed aluminium cylinder head by Dennis Welsh etc. Since the overhaul this car drove 2000 kilometers (1250 miles).

This classic is sold with a new, heavy linen, soft-top and a tonneau cover.
