The Jaguar Mk V 3.5 Litre DHC was presented in the year 1948 as successor of the Jaguar Mk IV. The Mk V was in fact a face lifted Mk IV. The Mk V was given a new front with integrated head lamps and some technical updates were carried out. The car was fitted with a hydraulic brake system and a torsion bar independent front suspension.
The Jaguar Mk V is a very sought after automobile. The scarce Drop Head Coupe, of which only 972 cars were build is a valuable collector item.
