The Jaguar XJ was presented in the year 1968 as Jaguar XJ 6 (series 1).The Jaguar XJ is still being manufactured - in multiple evolved shape -; a true evergreen... nowadays series 5 is actual.
The Jaguar XJ combines the qualities of a sports car and a limousine in one car. The XJ has excellent road holding capabilities, is very fast and powerful, is very comfortable and last but not least very silent. All these characteristics are united in the most timeless and delightful sporty limousine design Jaguar has ever drawn.
The Jaguar XJ was also manufactured as Daimler Sovereign. The Daimler was meant to be less sporty and more a luxury limousine for buyers who appreciated sheer comfort.

The series 1 was built between 1968 and 1972, series 2 between 1973 and 1979. Series 3 was built between 1979 and 1986.

Information

Jaguar XJ 6 4.2 Litre series 3, year 1980. Colour silver metallic with a anthracite (dark grey) roof top. Black leather interior and grey carpet. First owner car! This XJ6 was bought new at a Jaguar dealer in Sittard, the Netherlands. After the owner bought the XJ 6 he had the roof top sprayed dark grey, inspired by the black vinyl roofs as seen on the coupe model.
The car is fitted with the original chrome disc wheels and a automatic gearbox.
