De MG C GT was built between 1967 and 1969 and was meant to be the successor of the Austin Healey. The MG C GT  bodywork is identical to the MG B GT. De MG C was powered by a 2912 cc. six-cylinder in-line engine with an output of 145 bhp. The powerful engine made a top speed of 190 km/h (118 mph) possible. To cope with the weight of thee six-cylinder in stead of the four cylinder the MG C was equipped with a stronger torsion bar- suspension in front.

Information

MG MGC GT, year 1969. Colour red with a beige (tan) leather interior. This fantastic MG MGC GT is in very good condition and the car drives fantastic! The suspension has been modestly up rated for historic touring. This retaining a most comfortable ride. The automobile is beautifully serviced and maintained. Five years ago the engine and the gearbox have been overhauled. The six cylinder engine runs superb! This beautiful MGC GT features leather comfort seats with higher back and head rests, chrome wire wheels, an additional set of Minilite alloy wheels, additional driving lamps at front, a custom made wooden rally console (the original console and ash tray are present) and a MotoLita steering wheel with wooden rim. This MGC has proven it's reliability, this fine GT is very well suited to enjoy to the fullest regularly. The car is also a strong proposition in case you want to participate in historic touring (rally) events.
